{Cancer}
Cancer patients don’t die directly from the cancer?
If fire broke out in a building, there would be more casualties
from the inhalation of poisonous gas than ones from the fire
itself, victims got panic ran around to exit the smoking
building without proper measures such as covering noses with wet
towel or lowering their backs to avoid fatal smoking. Seemingly,
the same is true to the case of cancer patients.
At the beginning, stage of cancer, removal operation might be
the best option to choose; however, if the cancer has spread
into more than two spots, a series of aggressive removal
operations would be much riskier than some other alternatives.
There have been actual tragic reports relating to this study. It
is not necessary to take directive method risking a patient’s
life to attack the cancer cells which have already spread into
the deep area of a cancer patient. It would be much better if
acknowledging the existence of cancer cells in the body and
attacking them steadily at the same time finding a way to reduce
the side effects as little as possible.
This kind of drastic surgery might cause the patient to suffer
not only from poisonous elements of anti-cancer cell drug but
also from poisonous cancer cells as well. This procedure can
even bring the tragic results. It is very desirable for the
patient to take plenty of rest to regain the energy and
strengthening patient’s immune system by dissolving cancer cells
slowly. As a matter of fact, most cancer patients mostly die
from indirect attacks such as anemia caused by the malfunction
of blood making organism, internal bleeding by the rupture of
blood vessels, drastic drop of appetites, overall surge of
fatigue, infection due to break of immune systems, and
malfunction of main organs in our body except a brain cancer
directly caused by cancer cell’s direct expansion in the
patient.
For these reasons, Oriental herbal therapy and Korean’s
traditional acupuncture emphasizing the importance of patient’s
own will power of mind building more strong immune systems
through steady natural healing processes have overhand treating
the last staged cancer patients.
Efficaciousness of Blood Transfusion Therapy in Cancer Treatment
Medical Doctors who attends to the terminally ill on a daily
basis must experience many soul searching moments every time
they are left with the death of their patients. They also face
the gloomy reminder of self and medical limitation on what
therapeutic services they can truly provide to save the lives of
their patients. This is especially apparent in the treatment for
terminal stage cancer patients. Doctors, without any available
protocol for cure, in most cases, have no alternative but to
practice safe, “status quo” defensive medicine. They shy away
from or simply give up on a “terminal” case without attempting
at any form of curative treatment fearing failure and
malpractice law suits.
One good example of this status quo treatment is the blood
transfusion therapy. Late stage cancer patients often face
dangers of sudden death from loss of blood. Blood loss occurs
from failing metabolic functions and compensatory
vasoconstriction evoked by hemorrhage. For this condition, blood
transfusion is generally accepted and widely used method of
treatment for immediate replacement of lost blood. However,
there is abundant evidence of immune and non-immune modulation
induced by exposure to blood transfusion. Some studies have
demonstrated a detrimental effect of transfusion. Some studies
have demonstrated a detrimental effect of transfusion on the
recurrence of malignant diseases. Continued exposure to blood
transfusion introduces complication reactions which may severely
and permanently interfere with survival and/or complete
remission.
If the long term therapeutic goal is for a complete remission or
cure from cancer, then even wit risk of death from blood loss,
proper aggressive treatment should occur without exposing the
patient to blood transfusion. In fact, one of the most important
determining factors in prognosis is the absence of any exposure
to transfusion. However, in the U.S., threat of malpractice
prevents many doctors from incorporating any “risky” therapies
into his methods of treatment.
Late stage cancer patients eventually suffers circulatory
complications such as heart attack and no matter what emergency
measures are utilized, the patient ultimately dies in pain.
Objective here is not to dismiss the undeniably productive
aspects of traditional Western medicine, but to enlighten
readers to “alternative” paths to recovery and health.
Although acupuncture has evolved for thousands of years in the
Orient, acupuncture is recognized only as an instrument for pain
control in the U.S. With combined use of Acupuncture (Korean)
and herbal medicine, this author believes that not only terminal
stage cancer but any other serious diseases and illnesses can be
completely treated.
Western Medicine, where theories or techniques are an important
issue is not emphasized in Oriental Medicine. Educational
approach is compared to passing down family heirlooms. Korean
(KyungHak) Oriental Medicine is taught and trained-inherited
down to select disciplined individuals with ties or connections.
Diagnosis and treatment in Oriental Medicine occurs through
communication and sharing between the patient and the Doctor.
{Impotency}
Erectile
dysfunction, sometimes called "impotence," is the repeated
inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual
intercourse. The word "impotence" may also be used to describe
other problems that interfere with sexual intercourse and
reproduction, such as lack of sexual desire and problems with
ejaculation or orgasm. Using the term erectile dysfunction makes
it clear that those other problems are not involved.
{Heart Disease}
Heart disease
or cardiovascular disease is the leading health problem in the
western world claiming more than 1 million lives annually. An
estimated 50 million Americans are afflicted with heart and
blood vessel disease although many are a symptomatic.
Heart disease is the inadequacy of the heart and blood vessels
due to the blood vessels narrowing. As the heart pumps, it fails
to maintain the minimal amount of blood circulation throughout
the body. The result is that congestion and edema develop in the
tissues. If there is lack of oxygen there may be chest pain
called Angina.
{Acupuncture}
Acupuncture is a component of the health care system of China
that can be traced back at least 2,500 years. The general theory
of acupuncture is based on the premise that there are patterns
of energy flow (Qi) through the body that are essential for
health. Disruptions of this flow are believed to be responsible
for disease. Acupuncture may, it has been theorized, correct
imbalances of flow at identifiable points close to the skin.
The practice of acupuncture to treat identifiable
pathophysiological (disease) conditions in American medicine was
rare until the visit of President Richard M. Nixon to China in
1972. Since that time, there has been an explosion of interest
in the United States and Europe in the application of the
technique of acupuncture to Western medicine.
Acupuncture is a family of procedures involving stimulation of
anatomical locations on or in the skin by a variety of
techniques. There are a variety of approaches to diagnosis and
treatment in American acupuncture that incorporate medical
traditions from China, Japan, Korea, and other countries. The
most thoroughly studied mechanism of stimulation of acupuncture
points employs penetration of the skin by thin, solid, metallic
needles, which are manipulated manually or by electrical
stimulation.
{Oriental Medicine}
Oriental
medicine has been practiced for more than 2,500 years and
includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, Oriental
massage and Oriental nutrition. It is a system of medicine that
categorizes body patterns into specific types of diagnoses with
corresponding treatment plans. Oriental medicine is practiced in
China, Japan, Korea, Viet Nam, Thailand, Tibet and India. One
may be surprised to find that Oriental medical theory and
practice has spread to France, England, Spain, Germany, Russia,
much of Middle and South America, and Africa. It has gained
worldwide acceptance and recognition as effective medical
treatment. Due to the sheer weight of evidence, Oriental
medicine demands that it be taken seriously as a clinical
approach of considerable value. Over 15 million Americans have
turned to it, making it the complementary treatment of choice
for Americans everywhere.
Oriental medical practitioners use a variety of healthcare
therapies. Acupuncture, moxibustion (which is a type of heat
therapy using the mugwort plant), and Chinese herbal medicine
are the most popular.
